Privacy Policy

Protecting your personal data matters to us. We process personal data exclusively within the framework of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). This policy informs you about which data are processed when you visit our websites and contact us, for what purpose, and which rights you have. Convenience translation: the German version is authoritative.

1. Controller

DESPYR is a brand of DUESSIL.systems; the controller for data processing on despyr.de is likewise the entity named above. No data protection officer has been appointed, as there is no legal obligation to do so.

2. Hosting and server log files

Our websites are hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. A data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR is in place with the host; processing takes place in Germany.

When you access our pages the server automatically collects information in so-called log files: the IP address of the requesting device, date and time of access, the page or file accessed, the amount of data transferred, a message on successful retrieval, browser type and version, operating system, and the previously visited page (referrer).

These data serve exclusively to ensure trouble-free operation, improve stability and defend against attacks. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure provision of the website). The host automatically deletes the log files after a short period unless, exceptionally, they are still needed to investigate malfunctions or security incidents. They are not combined with other data or evaluated for marketing purposes.

3. Encryption

Our websites use SSL/TLS encryption (recognisable by “https://” and the padlock symbol in the browser). Data you transmit to us, for example via the contact form, cannot be read by third parties as a result.

4. Contact form on despyr.de

On despyr.de we provide a contact form. The details you enter are processed: name, email address, your message and, optionally, telephone number and subject. The details are transmitted to us by email and used exclusively to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions.

The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry aims at concluding or performing a contract, otherwise Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). We store your enquiry until the matter has been fully dealt with; beyond that only insofar as statutory retention obligations (e.g. for business correspondence) require. Data are not passed on to third parties.

The form contains a simple technical spam protection (a field invisible to humans); no additional personal data are collected or evaluated in the process.

5. Contact by email or telephone

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process your details to handle the matter. The legal bases are Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR (contract or pre-contractual measures) and Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR (answering enquiries). The storage period follows Section 4.

6. Fonts (hosted locally)

Our websites use fonts stored locally on our own server. Loading the fonts establishes no connection to servers of Google or other third parties; no data are transmitted to third parties in the process.

7. No cookies, no tracking

Our websites set no cookies, use no analytics or statistics tools (such as Google Analytics), no advertising services and embed no social media plugins. Your usage behaviour is not tracked. For this reason no cookie banner is required.

8. External links

Our websites contain links to external third-party offerings, for example the TeamViewer download pages for remote support and our profiles on Xing, Facebook and LinkedIn. These are plain links without embedded content: data are transmitted to the respective provider only when you click such a link, and from that point its privacy policy applies. For remote support sessions via TeamViewer we inform you separately when you commission us.

9. Recipients and transfers to third countries

The only recipient of personal data is our hosting provider as processor (Section 2). No transfer to third countries outside the EU/EEA takes place via our websites.

10. Your rights

With regard to your personal data processed by us you have the following rights: access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16 GDPR), erasure (Article 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR) and data portability (Article 20 GDPR). You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future (Article 7 (3) GDPR). An informal message to the contact details in Section 1 is sufficient to exercise these rights.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, www.lda.bayern.de.

11. Right to object (Article 21 GDPR)

Where we process data on the basis of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

12. No automated decision-making

No automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR, takes place.

13. Currency of this policy

We update this privacy policy when our websites, our processes or the legal situation change. The current version published here applies at any given time.
